On this day in my 5 days a week schedule, I am doing a TESTED series, where I test DIYs, pinterest, Facebook or tumblr inspired, and see if they actually work! In the spirit of fall, I decided to test a candle recipe that I found on Pinterest. I am always scouring Pinterest for the latest and fun DIY projects that I could test or recreate for you guys!
I am super excited to show you guys my favorite Pinterest inspired DIY Fall candles! I love filming DIY videos and since everyone knows fall candles smell pretty much amazing, I thought I would re-create some of my favorite fall scents. Let me know in the comments which DIY fall candles are your favorite! I thought these DIY candles smelled amazing and are so much more fun than bath and body works candles. I love creating easy DIYs and these candle recipes were so fun to experiment with for fall.
Essential oils are so much more healthy to use than synthetic fragrances and they also smell so fresh and are calming as well. My favorite essential oil recipes include lemon oil, orange oil, clove oil, and cinnamon oil. You can get essential oils from a ton of places online, but I gave you guys my favorite place to get these in the links above. I think these oils make the fall candles smell so nice and not overpowering, but also they are a lot healthier for you than the bath and body works candles.
Every year, I usually buy candles from Bath and Body Works because their selection is amazing and it’s also just really fun to go see the new scents they put out. BUT, the candles don’t last as long as other brands I’ve noticed, and they are also very strong smelling. That is what inspired me to test out my own diy candles to see if I could replicate them for less and make them a bit healthier.
Let me know if you have more requests for fall inspired videos for DIYs, fashion, makeup, and beauty. Also, I found a few of these recipes on Pinterest, so if you search Pinterest for DIY fall candles, you will find so many recipes!
